Niradhar Vriddha Pension Yojana (State Government Scheme)
(A) Who can get the benefit?
Under this scheme, the beneficiaries with income limit of 60 years or above should have the eligibility mentioned in (a) or should be included below the poverty line and should have the eligibility mentioned in (b).
(A) Eligibility criteria for applicants with income limit:
• Elderly people of 60 years or above under this scheme.
• In case of a disabled person, disability of more than 75% and age limit of 45 years or above.
• Should not have a son or grandson of 21 years or above and if he is alive and is mentally unstable or disabled and is unable to earn or is suffering from a serious illness like cancer, T.B. then application can be made.
• Applicants who have been permanently residing in Gujarat for at least 10 years.
• The annual income of the applicant should not exceed Rs. 1,20,000/- in rural areas and Rs. 1,50,000/- in urban areas.

(b) Eligibility criteria for applicants included in the Below Poverty Line (BPL) :
• Under this scheme, those aged 60 years or more
• Applicants from rural areas should be included in the BPL list below the poverty line with a score of 0 to 20.
• Applicants from urban areas should be included in the BPL list prepared in the context of poverty alleviation programs of the Ministry of Urban Housing & Poverty Alleviation, Central Government.
(b) Place of application
• Online application can be made from the Jan Seva Kendra, Mamlatdar Office, Gram Panchayat at the village level of the concerned district/taluka. https://www.digitalgujarat.gov.in/
(C) Documents to be attached with the application form
(A) Documents to be attached for applicants with income limit
• Age certificate / School leaving certificate / Age certificate issued by a doctor.
• Income proof.
• Disability certificate in case of disability.
• Certificate of not having a son above 21 years of age.
• Aadhar card
• Bank/Post office account
• Ration card
(B) Documents to be attached for applicants included in the Below Poverty Line (BPL)
• Age certificate / School leaving certificate / Age certificate issued by a doctor.
• Certificate of inclusion in the BPL list below the poverty line in the score range of 0 to 20 for applicants from rural areas.
• Certificate of inclusion in the B.P.L list prepared in the context of poverty alleviation programs of the Ministry of Urban Housing & Poverty Alleviation of the Central Government for applicants from urban areas.
• Aadhar Card
• Bank/Post Office Account
• Ration Card
(d) Benefits available under the scheme
• Monthly assistance of Rs. 1000/- is paid to the beneficiary aged 60 to 79 years and Rs. 1250/- to the beneficiary aged 80 years or more.
(e) Payment of assistance
• Payment is made through DBT to the beneficiary's post or bank account.
(f) Where to get the application form.
• District Collector's Office.
• This application form can be obtained free of cost from the Mamlatdar's Office.
• At the village level (V.C.E.) the application can be made online from the Gram Panchayat.

• The authority to approve/reject has been delegated to the Mamlatdar.
(G) Implementation of the scheme
• The concerned Mamlatdar office.
(H) Appeal application in case of rejection of the application
• There is a provision to file an appeal application to the Provincial Officer within 60 days of the rejected application.
(I) When will the assistance stop?
• In the event of the death of the beneficiary, the heirs of the applicant will have to inform the Mamlatdar office and stop the assistance of the applicant.
• When the income exceeds the prescribed income limit/when the score of the family is updated by more than 20 due to being included below the poverty line, the beneficiary will have to inform the Mamlatdar office and stop the assistance.
