- This branch carrying out the administrative work of the Directorate. The main functioning of this branch are as under :
- Appointments, Transfers, Promotion, Leave, Resignation, Retirement, primary enquiry and departmental enquiry of the employees.
- To delegate administrative and financial powers to Class-I & II Officers.
- Service related work of the employees of the office.
- To conduct departmental examination and send the employees/officers for training.
- Court cases, Seniority matters and maintaining the Roster Register of the office.
- The work related to the Confidential Report of the employees/officers of the office.
- To convert the temporary posts to permanent posts/Creation of new posts.
- Work related to approval of Higher Pay Scales to the employees/officers.
- Work related to giving compassionate appointment/lump sum assistance to the kin/heirs of deceased employees of the office.
- To maintain the Service Books of employees/officers.
- Work related to "Garib Kalyan Mela" programme.
