The National Trust Act, 1999 (Act no.44 of 1999) has been enacted by the Union Ministry of Law, Justice and Company Affairs on 30th December, 1999 for providing facilities and welfare of the persons with Autism, Cerebral Palsy, Mental Retardation and Multiple Disabilities.
For enforcement of this Act, necessary Rules were published by the Union Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment on 27th July, 2000 in the Gazette of India notifying The National Trust for Welfare of Persons with Autism, Cerebral Palsy, Mental Retardation and Multiple Disabilities Rules, 2000. |
