- Juvenile Justice (Provision and Protection) Act, 2015
The Juvenile Justice (Care and Protection) Act 2015 provides for the care and protection of children under the law and for the care, treatment and rehabilitation of children in conflict with the law. - To create awareness in the society about child marriage and campaign to prevent child marriage under the Child Marriage Prohibition Act, 2006.
- Work on providing opportunities for young offenders to improve their first offense under the Probation of Offenders Act, 1958.

- Maintenance and Welfare of Parents and Senior Citizens Act, 2007, which deals with the maintenance, welfare and protection of elderly parents and senior citizens.
- Indira Gandhi National Old Age Pension Scheme (Vayvandana Scheme)

- State government scheme to provide financial assistance to destitute elderly.
- Work regarding the rehabilitation of beggars. The Gujarat Prohibition of Begging Act, 1959 prohibits begging in the municipal area.
