- Office hours of all the offices of State and District-level are 10.30 hours to 18.10 hours.
- Receipts shall be issued on the spot by accepting applications of the people.
- Every written representations will be replied within 10 days which shall contain information about stage of redressal and the timelimit.
- Time-limit has been prescribed for disposal of applications submitted for the benefits of various schemes of the Department.
- In case of non-response on the representation within prescribed time limit, Citizen cum contact District Backward Class Welfare Officer at the District level for urban areas and for rural arrears, contact Social Welfare Officer (Panchayat).
- Citizen when approaches the office personally, he will be provided information about legal provisions and various rules.
- Information about all the schemes of the Department and application forms for the same shall be made available by the District Backward Class Welfare Officer at the District level for urban areas and for rural arrears, contact Social Welfare Officer (Panchayat), Vigilance Officer and House Master.
- At Taluka level, information about all the schemes of the Department and application forms for the same can be obtained from the Social Welfare Inspector as also can be downloaded from the website.
- The language of correspondence shall be simple and courteous.
- Suggestions with respect to reforms in administration and complaints about attitude of the employees shall be redressed immediately.
- Name-plates of all the responsible officers are displayed at State and District Levels.
- All the applicants visiting the office has right to meet concerned officer on the dates fixed.
- Notice shall be displayed on notice board of the office stating that application forms for various schemes of the Department are provided without any cost/charge/fee.
- Representation by any citizen, dignitary, representatives of voluntary organizations and associations, shall be heard by the Head of the Department with due respect.
