This Corporation gives the loan at the rate of 5 % to 9 % of interest to
beneficiaries of the Scheduled Castes having the income up to below the double
poverty line with the Collaboration of the National Scheduled Castes Finance and
Development corporation. Contribution of NSFDC is from 60 to 75 %, Contribution
of beneficiary is 2 % to 5 % and the contribution of the State Corporation is 20
to 35 % Under this schemes loans are given for different schemes to the
Scheduled Castes people for securing self employment. We give below the
progress under N.S.F.D.C. scheme for last six years including the current year
up to Oct. 03.

Till date 6471 eligible beneficiaries have been covered with Subsidy
amounting to Rs. 367.68 lakhs under NSFDC scheme.
The corporation implements a wide range of self employment schemes for assisting
the beneficiaries for activities like Jeep Taxi, Maruti Van, Tractor-trailor,
Passenger Auto-rickshaws, Provision Store, Tailoring Shop, Mandap Decoration,
Vegetable vendors, Mason work, etc.
