The activities of this branch are as follows :

1. All matters relating to planning that is to say annual planning, new items and additions and alteration in the scheme.
2. Organization of meetings of Districts level/divisional level and state level of the special component plan.
3. Preparation of lectures of very important persons.
4. Publication of publicity literature regarding the schemes of the department.
5. Monitoring of CSS (Centrally Sponsored Scheme) – Planned and Non-planned scheme

1. All matters related to Accounts and Cash

2. All matters related to receipt and payment

3. Budget Grant Related Matters like allocation reconcilation of expenditure.

4. All matters related to TA bill, Contingency bill, Payment bill, GPF bill, HBA, MCA, Detail Contingency bill.

5. Loan recovery

6. All matters related to PAC (Public Account Committee) and PRC (Panchayati Raj Committee)

7. All matters related to district grant expenditure and reconciliation
