An integrated Programme for older persons
 
Indira Gandhi National old pension (vayvandana scheme)
  • (A) Elligibility Criteria:
    1. 60 years or more
    2. Member of family in 0 to 16 score of BPL list
  • (B) Place to give application: respective mamlatdar office, jansevaKendra of respective districts
  • (C) Documents to be attached with application
    1. Age Certificate
    2. BPL Certificate
  • (D) Monthly Assistance: Rs.400/- for 60 to 79 age group and Rs. 700/- for more than 80 yearswhich also includes Rs. 200/- by State Government
  • (E) Mode of assistance :Bymoneyorder . Option to get finanicial assistance through Post Account or option is also given to beneficiaries.
Finacial assistance to destitute older persons (Scheme of State Government)
  • (A) Elligibility Criteria:
    1. 60 years or more old Female or male old destitute
    2. Persons having son age of 21 years or not than, in exception cases son is mentally ill or having serious diseases such as cancer,TB
    3. 45 years or more age and having disability of more than 75%
    4. Applicant’s annual income for rural area is not more than rs.27,000/- and Rs.36,000/- urban areas
    5. Permanent resident of Gujarat since 10 years.
  • (B) Benefits
    1. Rs. 200/- per month by money order
    2. given is account bank or account post through for Option.
  • (C) Place to get application forms:-
    1. Application forms are available at Mamlatdar office, prant office, janseva Kendra of collector office. Mamlatdars are authorized to approve or disapprove the application forms after due-verification.
National Family Support Scheme- SankatMochan (NFBS)
  • (A) Elligibility Criteria:
    1. Family should be in BPL List
    2. Natural or accidental death of main income earner of family
    3. Age of dead male or female should be more than 18 years and less than 65 years
    4. Application to be submitted within 2 years after death
  • (B) Benefits: Rs. 10,000/- to the family.
  • (C) Where to apply?
    2 .Apply to respective TalukaMamlatdar.
    The TalukaMamlatdars are authorized to approve or disapprove the assistance under this scheme. Appeal can be given to Prant Officer in 60 days in case of disapproval of application.
